We are at the gates of the 55th edition of Vinitaly, which will be held in Verona from 02 to 05 April. As every year, we will be in HALL 6 – STAND B4!
With the occasion, we are happy to communicate that Terredora Di Paolo will return to the 12th edition of OperaWine’s wine tasting “Finest Italian Wines“, born in 2012 from the collaboration of Veronafiere and Vinitaly with the prestigious American magazine Wine Spectator. The exclusive event offers to specialized operators, from all over the world, the chance to know the best Italian wines, according to the ranking drawn up annually by the experts of Wine Spectator.
On 01th April, we will participate in the event of the TOP 100 Italian Producers with our Fiano di Avellino Riserva Docg Campore, vintage 2018, white wine from 100% fiano grapes, born from the vineyard owned by Lapio (Av) in country land “Campore”, from which it takes its name, distinguished by its great longevity to make it a wine for long aging.
Fiano di Avellino Riserva Campore Docg comes from the grapes of Fiano in the vineyard owned by Lapio (AV), at about 600 meters above sea level, on clay-limestone soils, with long and steep rows, whose morphology makes the work long and not always easy during the year. The grapes are medium in size, with a pale yellow color and greenish veins. Fiano, a vine of long memory, finds its first testimonials since the writings of the famous Latin philosopher, Pliny the Elder, who praised its sweet beauty, calling it with the name of Apiana grape from “apis” – bee in english – because it was so sweet that bees liked it. – The ancient Apia, today with the modern name Lapio, is the Irpinian village that was the mother land of this ancient and virtuous vine and still preserves its maximum identity, although Fiano is produced in other municipalities in the province of Avellino.
We are waiting for you at our stand, to taste the 2022 vintage and our carefully selected historical vintages.
Happy Vinitaly to all!
